    MOST FAQ:  After I fill out my address shipping information, how do I choose my shipping?

     

    ANSWER:  Once you have filled out your address information for shipping and click continue, you will see a box on the upper left side asking you to choose your shipping choice.  If you are sending to AA,AE,AP, Guam,Puerto Rico,US Virgin Islands, you would click the dot beside that choice.  If you are sending to US,Alaska,Hawai,Canada, you click on the dot beside that choice.  Click on continue and your next page will give you your complete order total.  Next click to proceed to pay, and you are taken to PayPal to pay for your order.  It's that simple, your shipping is already figured out for you, you just click a dot!

     

    Where do we ship?

    At this time, Riley Creek Floating Candles ~ Soy Candles ~ Gift Baskets ~ Fragrance Oils ships merchandise to locations within the United States, all AA, AE, AP addresses, U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, Riley Creek Floating Candles ~ Soy Candles ~ Gift Baskets ~ Fragrance Oils ships merchandise to Canada, but not to other international locations. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.  Shipping to all AA, AE, and AP addresses is a flat rate of $22.95.  Shipping to Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands is a flat rate of $53.20.  There is an added surcharge of $16.50 for orders to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada.

    Holiday Closures

    Please take note that we are closed and no shipping will occur on the following days.  All orders due to ship on these days will ship the next operating business day.  Thank You.

    • December 23, 24, 25 in observance of Christmas.  Only shipping of orders placed before 1:00p.m. EST on 12-20-12 will ship 12-21-12.

    Regulations

    Due to regulations, Candles, Gift Baskets , Aromatherapy/Spa Accesories are shipped separately.  NO ORDERS ARE SHIPPED OUT ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY.

    Candles

    Candles are processed within 2 to 5 business days if not sooner.  International orders are processed withing 10-15 business days if not sooner.  Out of stock items will be processed 5 to 7 business days.  Our candles are hand poured right on the premises and need time to set-up. 

    Gift Baskets

    Gift Baskets are processed 99.8% of the time on the same day if, order is received by 1:00p.m. EST.  We do ship to APO, FPO and PO Boxes however, these shipments take one to two additional days to ship out.  There are no loss claims, late delivery refunds or damage claims honored under any circumstances for APO, FPO and PO Boxes.  You ship these orders at your own risk.  When shipping to any and all Military bases, please be sure to use the proper zip and address format.  Shipping to Alaska, Canada and US territories requires an additional surcharge. 

    During the months from May15th-mid October, Gift Baskets containing mainly chocolate will need to be shipped via Next Day Air.  Chocolate is extremely perishable during this time and we will not offer refunds or discounts of any kind for melted or damaged chocolates even when they are shipped via air.  The following baskets are recommended to ship this route during these months:  81021 Chocolate Delights Gift Basket; 81121 28pc Truffle Tower; 81122 13pc Truffle Tower; 81061 Chocolate Gourmet; 810182 Chocolate Treasures Gift Basket.  If you would like to ship these gifts via ground, we are more than happy to accommodate your request.  However, you ship these gifts at your own risk at all times from May-October.  There is also an additional charge of $5.00 for ice and cold pack.  Other baskets containing little chocolate may be substituted with hard candy or other items.

    USPS shipments take 1-2 extra days to ship out and do not fall under our standard shipping guidelines.  US mail delivery offers limited tracking information and is not as reliable as UPS.  Riley Creek Floating Candles ~ Gift Baskets ~ Aromatherapy will not be responsible for non-trackable packages.  You ship these items at your own risk and replacement items will not be shipped when an item is not trackable.

    There will be a $12.50 address correction fee for all ground orders and $15.00 address correction fee for air orders to correct a bad address, incorrect zip code and non-deliverable address information supplied.  So please, make sure your information is correct.

    Aromatherapy & Spa Accesories

    Orders will be processed within 2-3 days.  All orders will be sent via UPS and your package will arrive within 7-10 business days depending upon your geographic location.  US territories could take up to 10-21 business days or less.

  • All International orders will be processed within 10-15 business days.

    Customs and import duties may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.

    Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. Riley Creek Floating Candles ~ Soy Candles ~ Gift Baskets ~ Fragrance Oils is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.

  • Return Policy
  • Candles

    Our candles are made with high quality products but, for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you my return the undamaged product for a full refund, excluding shipping fee.  Returns must be made within 3 business days.  There will be NO exceptions to this policy.  NOT liking a fragrance is not a reason for a return. Once we receive the candle(s), your cost of the candle will be refunded back to your credit card account.  Unless we have made a mistake on the order, all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.  Shipping fee in not refundable. 

    Gift Baskets

    Due to perishable items, all returns on gift baskets must be made within 3 business days.  There will be NO exceptions to this policy.  We do reserve the right to make substitutions and do find the need to at various times throughout the year.  Also, not all packaging may look identical to the products photographed as designer packaging does change quite frequently.  With this in mind please be aware that a substitution or variance in flavor or packaging does not justify an item being returned at our expense, a discount, or refund of any kind.  If for any reason other than damages or errors on our part, and you want to return a gift, you may do so at your own expense plus an additional 20% restocking fee.  If a package is returned to us by UPS due to a bad address, non-deliverable address, or recipient refusal, there will be a charge of $10.00 in addition to the address correction fee to cover return shipping and all of the charges UPS charges us due to this error.

    Aromatherapy & Spa Accesories

    Due to regulations, we do not offer refunds or exchanges on skin care items.

    Damaged Merchandise During Transit

    Once again, all claims must be made within 3 buisness days, NO exceptions.  Our boxes are packed according to UPS packaging codes.  If a gift arrives damaged or there is a discrepancy, we will make every effort to resolve the issue in a timely manner and to your satisfaction.  Credits and or refunds will be at the sole discretion of Riley Creek Floating Candles ~ Gift Baskets ~ Aromatherapy and will only be issued if damaged gifts or discrepancies can be verified by the carrier.  If you dispose of the gift before we can verify the damages/discrepancy, we will not issue any refund.  All claims must also be issued in writing to marcia@rileycreekfloatingcandles.com, no claims will be accepted via the phone.  You must also contact UPS at 1-800-742-5877 to report the damaged package.  You will need to provide UPS with the tracking number found on the shipping label.  You will also need to keep the damaged package up to 5 days or more from the time you call UPS to report the damage.  UPS will pick up the damage package for inspection and send the paper work to us for a refund.  We can either send you the product again, or we can refund your money back to your credit card account.
